1.1 Understand payments

The BILL Divvy Card is a charge card and works differently from a traditional credit card in that your entire balance is due by the end of your billing cycle’s grace period.

You cannot pay part of your spent credit line on the due date and the rest later without incurring late fees. You also cannot pay a portion of your balance before your due date without the rest being due on your due date.

If you view the Account Payments page during your billing cycle the page displays the Accrued Amount Due. Accrued amount due is an estimate of the amount that will be owed at the end of your billing cycle, and is subject to change based on what you've spent so far in your billing cycle period.

If you view the Account Payments page after your billing cycle ends, the page displays the Amount Due. Amount due is the total amount owed on your payment due date. This amount is calculated after your billing cycle ends and includes money spent, past due amounts, and any other fees if applicable. The Amount Due must be paid in full on the due date to avoid fees.

You can see your billing cycle and billing due date from the Account Payment Info section of your Company Dashboard.

Heads Up

It can take 3-5 business days for funds to clear before they become available to use through your BILL Divvy Card so plan your spending accordingly.
